Army Love

Moonlight shines trough the curtains,
another night awake.
Thinking this won't hurt us,
was a huge mistake.

The mirror smiles right back at me,
it seems like I'm okay.
But at night I'm thinking about my lover,
who is miles away.

Sure we write eachother letters,
but I want to feel your skin.
See the sparkle in your eyes,
feel the warmth from deep within.

This mission can't last forever,
I need you back home safe.
Crying tears from happiness,
not mourning at your grave.

This war destroys everything,
The earth beneath our feet, the sky from above,
It tries to take anything,
but it can't kill our love.
